We know how important your wedding is to you. Here at Otley Hall we will provide you with a personal, friendly and professional service to make sure you have a lovely day to remember forever.

Otley Hall is a grade I listed historic house in Suffolk and has a long and distinguished history. It is situated in ten acres of gardens and is the perfect location for a dream wedding.

Wedding Ceremonies

We are licenced to hold civil ceremonies and have three rooms licenced for this purpose. The Great Hall with original 16th century features overlooks the rose and croquet lawns and can hold 60. The Gosnold Suite, adjacent to the main building holds 90, and the Linenfold Parlour, lined with superb linenfold wood panelling is perfect for more intimate occassions and holds 25. We welcome civil marriages, civil partnerships, marriage blessings and naming ceremonies.

Wedding Breakfasts and Receptions

For the wedding breakfast, we are able to cater for a maximum of 98 people in our Gosnold Suite. This facility can hold up to 130 people during the evening reception. For larger receptions we can discuss the hire of a Marquee which would be placed in the grounds and used for the wedding breakfast. Dancing will take place in the Gosnold Suite. You and your guests will have exclusive use of the gardens and grounds for the duration of the wedding day.

We pride ourselves on being completely flexible when it comes to your day and we do not have packages that we insist you work to. Each wedding is a bespoke occasion and we work with you to bring your ideas to life. You may use whatever supplier you wish for catering and entertainment etc, but we can provide you with recommendations and suggestions to aid you in the planning process.

Below are the prices for some of our more popular options.

A. The Gosnold Suite for up to 98/130 people £2750

This cost includes venue hire with both the breakfast and reception being held in the Gosnold Suite, the use of the Great Hall and the Linenfold Parlour for photographs of the bridal party,

an organisational fee, furniture hire & staff to set up & clear up.

B. Marquee and the Gosnold Suite £2750

Wedding breakfasts for more than 98 people will require the use of a marquee for the wedding breakfast. Venue hire fees include the use of the Great Hall and the Linenfold Parlour for photographs of the bridal party, the use of Otley Hall grounds on which to place a marquee for the breakfast with dancing in the Gosnold Suite during the evening reception. Also included is event management throughout, an organisational fee, furniture hire for the Gosnold Suite & staff to set up & clear up.

(Marquee is to be hired at your expense)

Applicable Monday - Thursday throughout the year:

We offer a discounted rate of 10% from the Reception venue hire fee.

We offer a discounted rate of 15% from the Reception venue hire fee.

(excludes room hire fee for the ceremony)

NB: Only one discounted rate applies. Limited on site parking out of season.

Catering, entertainment, floristry etc is not provided by Otley Hall. These must be arranged through separate suppliers. We can provide assistance with this.
